A Balcony Over the Northern Hills

Zufre stretches along a high ridge above a landscape of reservoirs, oak pasture and distant hills. The historic centre is best explored slowly, following its narrow lanes to viewpoints and the parish church before heading out into the open countryside. Its position makes it a natural place to pause between the western Sierra and the foothills leading towards Seville.
