Fuenteheridos Guide: Fountain, Heritage & Walks

Fuenteheridos

Where Mountain Water Meets Cobbled Streets

Fuenteheridos is a small Sierra village shaped by water, stone and chestnut country. Its historic centre rewards a slow wander through narrow cobbled streets to Plaza El Coso, where the twelve-spout fountain remains the defining landmark. The Holy Spirit church and traditional houses add architectural character, while nearby woodland routes connect the village with the wider natural park. Allow a relaxed half-day for the centre and lunch; walkers can turn it into a full day by following one of the routes through the surrounding hills.
